■ This was the eighth show that Metallica performed in 2013.
■ This was the second of two consecutive shows in Cape Town.
■ Seven out of the 18 songs on the setlist had never been performed in Cape Town. These songs included: "The Shortest Straw", "Through the Never", "The Memory Remains", "Cyanide", "...And Justice for All", "Am I Evil?", and "Fight Fire with Fire".
■ The band performed 18 songs off of eight albums: Kill 'Em All (1), Ride the Lightning (3), Master of Puppets (3), ...And Justice for All (3), The Black Album (4), Reload (2), Garage Inc. (1), Death Magnetic (1).
