Tonight: Franz Ferdinand

四年的等待，在新年开始不久，我们终于等来了Franz Ferdinand的新专辑里浮出水面。在高调连续发行了前两张专辑后，Franz Ferdinand一举拿下了04/05年的众多奖项。

这是Franz Ferdinand发行的第三张录音室专辑，从在2007年后期就开始在格拉斯哥灌录。在一个与英国报章独立报的访问中，乐队表示这张专辑会受非洲音乐影响。其实早在08年6月6日，乐队在官方网站披露了这张新专辑的一些细节。名为"Tonight: Franz Ferdinand"。

Franz Ferdinand乐队由4个帅小伙Alexander Kapranos、Nicholas McCarthy、Robert Hardy和Paul Thomson组成。02年成团，凭首碟拿下2004年英国水星音乐奖、第5届全英音乐大奖的“最佳英国乐队”和“最佳摇滚组合”及第47届格莱美奖的最佳摇滚组合奖。此后更是Q杂志音乐奖和NME音乐奖常客。这支来自苏格兰格拉斯哥的乐队2004年凭借自己的首张同名专辑震撼了整个英国摇滚乐坛。

Tonight: Franz Ferdinand is Franz Ferdinand's upcoming third album. It is scheduled for release through Domino Records on 26 January 2009 in the UK, and the following day in North America. It has been announced that "Ulysses" will be released on the 19 January 2009 as the first single and is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
