Telescape is the fifty-third studio album by guitarist Buckethead, and the twenty-third installment of the Buckethead Pikes Series. The album was part of a series of thirteen pike albums that were released in close succession from one another during the first half of 2013.
The album was announced and released on August 16 in a digital format and also as a limited edition, untitled album with hand drawn covers and signed by Buckethead himself, but unlike any of the other limited editions released during 2013 Buckethead limited the number of copies to 300 only. The limited edition was scheduled to be released on August 19.
Unlike any of the previous albums released on 2013, the album was originally announced with the standard edition cover and track titles. A standard edition was announced but has not yet been released.
