Although there is nothing wrong with this bog standard collection of well worn Dylan standards this is a very unexciting compilation of tracks which adds nothing to the comparatively recent releases of "The Essential Bob Dylan" and the 3 disc "Dylan" set. Indeed it is difficult to see who this will appeal to. Hard core Dylan fans are far more likely to be attracted to the new "Pure Dylan" CD (expensive though it is) for it comprises a more unusual and interesting selection. New recruits would be better served by the larger "Dylan" selection save for the very cheap asking price for this recent addition to the extensive Bob catalogue. It is a shame that an opportunity to make available some of Dylan's more obscure official releases has been missed (again!)
