Hong Kong singer-actress Mimi Lo gets Very Personal with her latest cover album. After offering English covers with her 2007 album You're My Everything, the sassy alto returns to her mother tongue for this 13-track album that includes her renditions of pop classics like Anita Mui's "Love isn't a Crime", Alan Tam's "Rainy Night's Romance", Tai Chi's "Hold on to Me" (Track 6), and Danny Chan's "La Vie en Rose" (Track 8). Mimi Lo is joined in the recording studio by a world-class team of musicians that includes Australian drummer Nicholas McBride, American harmonica player Damien Masterson, and Hong Kong's very own Ted Lo, Eugene Pao, Sylvian Gagnon, and Yo Yong.
