Though Kaleidoscope may not be as impressive as earlier material by the duo, it represents another step forward for progressive trance. From straightahead tracks like "Garden of Eden" and the single "Don't Call It Love" (with vocals by Plavka to more tongue-in-cheek material -- "So Called Techno Track" and the Miles-tribute "Mark Runs the Voodoo Down" -- Jam & Spoon keep on keeping on with determination and class.
