This album honors the band's major hits during its EMI/Virgin years. All the songs that helped establish it on the scene are here, like "La Flaca," "De Vuelta y Vuelta," and "Depende." But there are also other songs that, although not as popular, are good proof of the band's talent, such as "Agua," "Bosque de Palo," and "Grita." Some surprises -- especially for fans -- include three previously unreleased tracks: "A lo loco con P. Tinto," "El lunar de María," and the outstanding "En lo Puro no hay Futuro" (recorded with Peret and Elíades Ochoa). There are 17 well-crafted Latin rock tracks on this album, making it a good place to start.
