Perpetual Desolation专辑介绍
"Perpetual Desolation"是The Sins of Thy Beloved的第二张录音室专辑，弥漫着妖艳幽暗的黑色情绪。
唱片的出品者是著名的极端金属公司“汽油弹”，该公司旗下的乐队多半是BLACK METAL乐队，异常的快速和激烈，但THE SINS OF THY BELOVED显然是公司里的异数，他们的音乐同样很黑很邪，但绝对不快不噪，吉他在金属乐队中的老大地位，被乐队用小提琴取而代之。
乐队成立于1998年，正是黑金属在北欧大行其道的时候，他们的风格，受到另一支大名鼎鼎的黑金属乐队Theatre Of Tragedy的影响，糅合了黑金属和歌特金属，更注重对神秘邪恶气氛的渲染，并始终在音乐中散布着异样的凄美。
总觉得这样的乐队有些投机分子的嫌疑，音乐是很好听，但他们的目的却是为了争取更多的市场，当然，仔细想想没有什么不对，只要音乐做得好，别人要听，多些商业上的利益也没错。
乐队翻唱了METALLICA的名曲：“THE THING THAT SHOULD NOT BE”，原来的熊熊烈焰没有了，取而代之的却是北方冬夜冰冷的鬼火。
