thronar以自己（认为）开创的战争金属风格为主打，并且在曾经有一个版本的乐队logo上印有battle metal的字样。
乐队共两张完整专辑，其中以这一张最为经典。本专辑自认为质量非常高，听着非常有力道，每首歌都可以反复听。是viking/pagan/folk一块里的绝对一张力作。
后续专辑unleash the fire延续这一张的传奇，但质量明显有所下降。最后乐队解散，传奇结束。
