Originally released in 1985 and reissued a couple of times since, Onslaught's debut album Power from Hell mines territory similar to that of early Slayer, making these Britishers one of the first bands to begin refining that sound into what would become death metal. Still, this is early material, and it isn't as well executed as other death prototypes, although those fascinated with the genre's roots will want to have a listen.
