Unreal Tournament 3 Original Game Soundtrack(虚幻竞技场 3)专辑介绍 Unreal Tournament 3: The Soundtrack was composed by Jesper Kyd and Rom Di Prisco.According to UT3's Audio Director Mike Larson, after the more orchestral music of UT2003 and UT2004 it became clear that "an overwhelming majority of users" preferred the original UT music. This, and the wish to make a clear distinction between the UT series and Gears of War led to the decision to return to electronica. Most of the tracks are remixes of original UT99 tracks, or feature small samples from UT tracks. Some of the music that can be heard in game or on cutscenes is not present in those 2 CDs; they are reported as "Others", which were composed by Kevin Riepl. UT3 features both music in the Ogg Vorbis format as well as dynamic music of an unknown format.
According to IGN, Di Prisco's work in Unreal Tournament 3 is influenced by a variety of electronic music periods and artists, such as Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, William Orbit, Orbital, and Roni Size. The Crystal Method, Kraftwerk and Peter Gabriel are also mentioned as influences on the soundtrack.

《虚幻竞技场3》(Unreal Tournament 3,UT3)是由Epic Games所开发的第一人称射击游戏,是继虚幻II之后的新一代虚幻游戏,由Midway Games于2007年11月19日发行PC Windows版本,PS3版则在2007年12月10日发行,Mac OS X与XBox 360的版本则将在2008年发售。
《虚幻竞技场3》是浴血战场系列的第四套游戏,也是虚幻系列的第八套,《虚幻竞技场》(UT99)使用虚幻引擎(Unreal Engine 1.0),而《虚幻竞技场2003》(UT2003)及《虚幻竞技场2004》(UT2004)使用虚幻引擎2(Unreal Engine 2.0),本游戏则使用虚幻引擎3(Unreal Engine 3.0),因为UT2004大量地重复使用UT2003的内容与架构,所以UT3应该被归为本系列的第三代游戏。
