In 2007 the North London UK Grime/Hip Hop (Grip Hop)artist released his first mixtape Learn from my Mixtape after departing Combination Crew to start a solo career. This mixtape has been received by both Grime and Hip Hop fans as one of the best mixtapes to drop that year.
With the likes of Ghetts, Bashy and Calibar on this mixtape coupled with his remarkable lyrical content it was no surprise that Wretch was seen as one to watch in 2006. He was a member of the grime collective "Combination Chain Gang", before forming The Movement with Scorcher, Ghetto, Devlin and Lightning. He is also often associated with other Tottenham artists such as Calibar, Hunt, Cell 22, Chipmunk and producer Wizzy Wow. As he has made several songs together with these artists as well as appeared in freestyles and videos.
Teacher's Training Day, features lyrically emotive masterpiece 'Nothing Lasts For Ever' and the innovative underground classic, 'punctuation'.
