Lo and behold; the album cover for ”The Wild Hunt”
Executed in oil and mixed materials, this still life was painted by Zbigniew M. Bielak, the very same artist who was responsible for the artwork of Lawless Darkness.
The image peers into the inmost shrine of Watain’s temple where, as on a classical stilleben, each object has a significant meaning, while each song of the album is also connected to an object.
Available as exclusive Wolf Wear Edition box set as pre-order on July 10 2013 through www.wolfwear.net
The box set is strictly limited to 2000 copies and it includes:
- The Wild Hunt digipak CD with a 24-page-booklet.
- The Wild Hunt double red vinyl instead of regular black.
- When Stars No More Shine 7" EP (1998 and 2013 recording; the first Watain song ever written).
