Duke Pandemonium专辑介绍 Duke Pandemonium is the forthcoming second album by Marmaduke Duke, due to be released in May 2009 by 14th Floor/Warners.

Background
Duke Pandemonium is the second part of a three-album trilogy by the conceptual rock duo, Marmaduke Duke. The album was recorded soon after the first by J.P. Reid and Simon Neil. Many of the songs were played live in 2005 with two songs, "Everybody Dance" and "Music Show", featured on a promo CD released in 2006. The record was meant to be released in summer 2006 on Captains Of Industry, as stated on the official website.[citation needed] The delay in the album's release was due to the success of Simon Neil's other band Biffy Clyro.

The band have found a new label in 14th Floor/Warners, who also boast a roster of Biffy Clyro and Damien Rice. The album has been mixed by Rich Costey (Muse, Mars Volta, Cave In, Foo Fighters) & mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden).

In February 2009, the album track "Music Show" was given away as a free download from the NME website. The NME are also including the band's cover of "Friday, I'm In Love" on a free compilation album in tribute to The Cure.

They also performed an acoustic cover version of "Fall At Your Feet" by Crowded House for Dermot O'Leary's Radio show in February 2009.

"Erotic Robotic" was given it's first play on BBC Radio 1 when Biffy Clyro stood in for Zane Lowe in early 2009.

"Rubber Lover" was the "Hottest Record in the World Today" on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show on 4 March 2009

The album was leaked onto several torrent sharing websites in its entirety as of Monday 06th April 2009
