History Repeating: Blue专辑介绍
Based on Mega Man 3, 'History Repeating: Blue' has the personality that makes The Megas stand out. Four songs in particular push this fact.
The first is 'Don't Mess With Magnetman.' Unlike most of the Robot Masters, Magnetman just wants to be with Mega Man's sister, Roll. This is rather reminiscent of past songs, such as 'Programmed to Fight' and 'Blue Like You.' A catchy and delicious chorus make this something you'll be singing all day.
Then there is 'Walk Away From Light.' Based on Snakeman, 'Walk Away From Light' is even better than 'Don't Mess With Magnetman.' Taken from Snakeman's point of view, the Robot Master tries to convince Mega Man to join Wily's side. Even better, Snakeman makes a very good argument. It's clear the band took inspiration from the serpent in the Garden of Eden.
Third is 'You've Sparked A War.' We were able to hear three versions of this song before the release of 'History Repeating: Blue,' and this is the best version. The other versions are worth having in your catalog as well.
Finally, 'Gamma Unchained.' As Gamma finishes starting up, Wily begins this monologue. We learn of the internal struggles Wily faces, and how he hopes Gamma can change everything. Alas, it is not to be.
The other songs of the album shine as well. 'Steel Forged in Fate' brings to mind the starting of a level to kick trash. 'History Repeating' Parts 1 & 2, tell of Mega Man and his exhaustion at doing the same thing again, and Protoman's coming to his destiny, respectively. 'Can't Stop The Top' gives insight into the proud Topman and his dancing skills. '(I Want To Be the One) To Watch You Die' chronicles Dr. Light's sadness for the events occurring. The final song on the album, 'Continue,' reminds Mega Man and us that the war will never cease, and that Mega Man will never rest.
To sum it all up, every song on this album rocks. This is the best album The Megas have done yet. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
