The EX-401 is a set-thru design, with the neck of the guitar extending into the body cavity for smooth and fast access to the highest frets. It has a mahogany body, a three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets. You get pro-quality components with the EX-401FR, including Grover tuners and an enviable set of EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups, providing an array of tones from buttery to edgy, in-your-face power.
