My Next Move

The next day,John's crime is discovered and although David has delivered retribution,the relationships and trust between the islanders and the sailors are effectively ruined.There are some clashes and fighting,but the sailors manage to hold their ground and return to their ship,thanks to their deadly firepower.The kill many in the process and decide to leave the island after filling their food supply,as per usual.For David,however,the experience has jostled his heart and he feels he cannot go on and continue with their pointless journey.He kills himself on the ship by opening his arteries.

David: "watching the darkness take over the sky
our ship sails away I just wonder why
i should stay on this path
only feeding my wrath
with every new death
simply stifling my breath
no more sweet tales I am tired of this game
the ship will be my coffin
and the sea my cool grave
