Whew this was a toughy. More complicated song
to be make it into the pop/punk/indie scene. Although
that's what they are and gosh darn it i love them for it.
These guys are the masters of chord subsitutions and
keychanges/modulation. One of my fav bands fur
sure.
Careful observers note that there is no bass line.
Which seems fitting because they don't have an
official bass player right now. I'm pretty sure tim plays
most of the stuff on the new album "Prepare the
Preparations". The bass part is mixed really low and
is mushy and it's really tough to hear exact parts. I
didn't think i'd do justice to it so i left it out. Sounds fine
without it actually. If you're going to cover it then follow
the guitars. They DID do alot of cool little licks with the
bass in this song though.
