Sinergy - I spit on your Grave
Music by Kimberly Goss and Alexi Laiho
Guitars played by Alexi Laiho and Roope Latvala
Please read the following short instruction;
Roope and Alexi both use D-Tuning, so
should you playing this song.
This tab was published in Young Guitar Magazine
(Japan) and is official as far as I know.
Myself I only transcribed it to GTP4-format to make it
possible to play along at lower speeds for rehearsing,
to make it more useable and easier for those who are
not that experienced in reading usual notation.
The tab itself was not free of faults. The bending
system was really kinda weird, and there were many
dismatches between tabulature and normal notation,
so this GTP3 file is a combination of tabulature and
notation-version with some corrections (changed
some things to a more easier version) of my own.
but there still might be some rare faults left.
Further I picked out the most exciting spots and put'em
together in the first line. So you got a lead and a rythem
line in this tab. It's not like Roope and Alexi play it, but
it's most fun to play along this way... ;)
Bendings and harmonics sound really odd to my ears in
this program but if you try to play it on your own and
listen carefully to the album you might get the trick
easily.
Further I was somehow not able to program the
tremolo-bar, so I whrote a small comment everywhere it
was used.
YGM did not mark tapping in their tabulature nor did
they mark sweep-picking. So every comment advising
you to tap or sweep are made by me, in situations,
where those techniques seemed to be necessary or
easier than normal picking.
Even though some parts are repeated the instruction is
given only once.
The vocal-line is just ment as a help for orientation.
Surely it does not have the dynamic and power
Kimberly has on the record and some notes might be
different.
For those of you who are interessted in the
original-version of the tab I uploaded it to my
webspace. You might view and download it in
jpg-format at the following link;

But be warned that there still are some faults and they
did not think of the D-Tuning when they
whrote the notation so you've got to think two half
steps down while reading it.
I hope you enjoy the tab and playing the song as much
as I do. You might learn quite a lot from Alexi and
Roope this way. :)
