This energetic dance reflects the indomitable spirit of
the Spanish people, and with a competent
performance, it makes an indelible impression.
Farruca is played in A minor (E phrygian). During
execution, it is customary to slow down and speed up.
Rhythm 4/4. One compas consists of two cycles,
which means it has 8 beats with emphasis on the 1st,
3rd, 5th and 7th beats.
