Awakening

This song's dynamic soundscape depicts the parable of a man living in a dream-like state of "sleep", walking through existence without conviction and without hope. After wandering through a world where fear, pain, lust, corruption, greed, addiction, betrayal, and hate contaminate it's inhabitants, he is anguished and weary. His soul calls out... He is awakened with a renewed mind, opened eyes, and a new hope. Once free from the false reality that enslaved him, he is given the choice to surrender his will and live in truth, or remain chained to the past illusion of freedom. The journey is one of immense ups and overwhelming downs, but ultimately it is where an illumination of the mind, heart, and soul occurs. For the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light."- Ephesians 5 : 14
