Background Information

The Battle of Yi Ling (222 A.D.)
-Liu Bei avenged Guan Yu's death back from Fan Castle but ends up in a failure as the Wu forces launced a fire attack that devastatingly demoralizes Shu. Realizing his great loss, Liu Bei reateated to Bai Di castle. It is said that his depression due to the loss of his sworn brothers is the cause of his death.
