First of all..
Do you know how hard it is to make a guitar sounding
like a mandolin in this sh*thole ?
anyway, I did my best trying to get the right notes at
least.
And about the tuning, I have no idea how many frets a
mandolin has (or even if it's fretless or not ?) but I know
this: in some parts, Mandolin 1 sounds like it's reaching
beyond the frets, but I still don't think it has 22, I mean,
even some electric guitars don't have 22 frets, so it
might *MIGHT* be a step or 2 steps up, not sure.
But. if you wanna get the same sound, you'll need a
classical guitar (with EBG, and no, not acousitc) and a
thin high e string tuned up a step, and when you reach
frets 22-23 (which are now 20-21) hold the right
spaces after the 19th fret, which will probably make
the same sound the mandolin does, so, yeah, there's
that.
