There is currently a Power Tab transcription of this
song that I wasn't aware of until I was about half way
through my own transcription, and I was a little
shocked at how similar the two tabs were, so much so
that it prompted me to include this note. Our two tabs
have several pretty major differences, but the sections
we both tabbed in the same way look identical,
including the minutia of the articulations and ghost note
slides, etc. Even the Choir Aahs tracks are strikingly
similar. I just want to assure the creator of the Power
Tab version (Matthew Ford) and anyone else who may
be reading this that I haven't ripped off anyone's work -
any similarities are purely coincidental, and aren't
necessarily unusual given that certain passages can
only really be tabbed in one way and in one position.
I've had some of my own work stolen and I know how
it feels, and the act itself is pretty dishonest and frankly
a little creepy (that is, taking credit for other people's
work), and if you check out my current catalogue of
tabs [http://tabbernacle.blogspot.com/] you'll find no
evidence of a desire or a need to plagiarise.
The Ebow used for the Lead Guitar 1 track causes the
pitch of the notes to be an octave higher than the
notes on the tab. To recreate this effect I've simply
tuned the guitar in question up an octave, which
preserves the integrity of the tab while also producing
the desired pitch. Lead Guitar 2's notes are played as
written.

This tab has NOT been optimised to be played back
with RSE - if you use RSE you may need to tweak
the volume levels etc. to suit your own software/taste.
