dysthymiaMesa boogie这个音箱品牌创业于20世纪60年代，创始人Randall Smith（现在的公司总经理）在当时设立了一家专门为吉他手定做吉他音箱的公司。当时公司的主要业务就是对Fender牌的Princeton音箱进行改造，将输出功率增大到100瓦。当时，Santana乐队的领军人Carlos Santana试奏过他改造过的音箱以后，对音箱的音色大为赞赏。
